The atmosphere is heavy and warm in Tianjin, with the Haihe River seemingly asleep under a thick blanket of mist. On the quay, a majestic bonsai sits within a square pot, standing in contrast to the vast misty landscape around it. Opposite, the outlines of colonial-era buildings timidly peek through the fog, casting gentle reflections on the river's calm waters.
