Description
An exquisite example of early 12th-century Romanesque architecture, the Basilica di Santa Giusta stands tall with its golden sandstone façade adorned with blind arcades and a distinctly Tuscan portal. The interior showcases three naves separated by rows of marble and granite columns, some of which are believed to be from ancient Tharros. Beneath the presbytery lies a vaulted crypt housing the relics of Saint Justine, a martyr speculated to have been executed during the reign of Diocletian (circa 244-311)
